Show & Trail Activities
The 2012 show schedule is in full swing. Paradise Farm has four horses that will be showing in Florida, Atlanta, and North Carolina over the next several months. Ellie will be returning to the show ring along with new horses Puloma (4 year old scholling filly) and Bo (pleasure/performance gelding). Make a date to come and see our new contenders.

High Plains is again sponorsing a booth at the upcoming Equine Affair in Witchita Kansas the weekend of of February 11; and the region is working on a sponsored show for later in the 2012 show season. Watch for upcoming details on PFHA and ACTHA trail rides. Plan to join us and see the Paso Fino at its best.

The Grand National Championship Show is scheduled for October 7-13, 2012 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. In fact, the PFHA just approved our National event at the Horse Park through 2015. What a magnificent facility and what place to show. Please watch for upcoming notes on show and trail events and what to do and see in this fabulous, legendary facility.

Meet our Newest Grand National Champion

Robano became part of our horse family in the spring of 2011 and was shown by Robin Ratliff at Nationals in the Breeder's Sweepstakes Colt class. Robano was bred at Greener Pastures by Robin and Henrietta Ratliff and he is the third consecutive offspring of Raul to win this class. Raul is owned and shown by Amanda Hamilton.  This newest champion is quite a handsome dude, even if I do say so. Watch for great things from this colt. He tells us clearly each day, he is something else!!!.

Clinic and Fun Show and Open House- October 27, 2012

Watch for upcoming details on a day at Paradise Farm. Robin Ratliff will be joining us for this second clinic at our facility. The day will feature information appropriate for individuals new to the breed, interested in purchasing Paso Finos as well as experienced and inexperienced show contenders. Industry personnel will be on hand to answer your individual questions and fun classes will be judged and awarded ribbons. Horses will also be available for viewing and sale. Final details will be published as a link to our website. Those attending our 2011 clinic will be given priority for horse attendance. Be sure to reserve your space early as riding spaces will be limited.

New Buyers
Congratulations to the recent buyers of Paradise's Half Note and Paradise's Ochete. Both of these young horses have been trained by Robin Ratliff and are home now with their new families in Florida and Alabama. We are pleased that these well gaited, sound athletes have been placed with loving families that wish to show and trail ride. Both horses sired by Experimento are truly a pleasure to ride.
